I’ve always been a big fan of the wearable tech as soon as I heard it existed. For some people I know, however, that is not the case at all. It really doesn’t do anything for them. A big part of me found that impossible to believe, but it may have had a slightly negative impact on me and my new obsession to the point that maybe I didn’t pay as much attention to it as I normally would have.
Waking up today, that has all changed again with the news of the very first Custom Rom being available for the Samsung Galaxy gear. As a huge fan of hacking, new Rom’s are a big part of my life that I love to explore. As soon as I laid eyes on this one it looked a treat. The Rom’s called Null and you can see it briefly pictured here.
There’s all new wallpapers inside to deck you watch out with and it comes with its own native weather app. On top of that you now also have another email client and the things based off of CyanogenMod 102.
This one really took me by surprise. I wasn’t thinking these would be possible to have on a watch face at all. Maybe I heard a rumor a long time ago and now that I think about it, obviously anything that runs Android is exposed to this kind of development, even if the screen is really small.
