  1. Download the CF-Auto-Root for the J5 SM-J500FN smartphone directly to the desktop of the computer.
  2. Extract the CF-Auto-Root package to the desktop.
  3. Right-click on the Odin executable and choose to run it as an administrator.
  4. Do not make any changes from the Odin default settings.
