When we reviewed the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, one of the things that stood out as a main feature was the fact that you could now get multiple user privileges. It would seem Netflix also thought this was a useful feature and could come in handy for their online system. It will be spread out across all platforms, including Android and iOS.
Basically what it means is that from within one family account, you will be able to create sub accounts which will allow you to keep separate histories, records, favorites, cues etc. There’s also a focus on personal recommendations which makes good sense. On top of that there are some extra social media sharing options now integrated.
The profiles are coming to the gaming networks such as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 first. The fruit company will also get it for most of their devices including Apple TV, iPad and iPhone.
