Microsoft released a new feature to Microsoft Teams called Microsoft Mesh which enabled shared experiences through mixed reality apps.
Microsoft Mesh lets you feel presence unlike any online meetings platform before. Microsoft Mesh offers new depths and dimensions to be able to engage in eye contact and facial expressions in more detail, thus offering more insight into personality than we have had to date.
There isn’t much personality in the metaverse at the moment. Its dated graphics are said to be the gateway to allowing more developers easier access to develop their metaverse creations. Microsoft Mesh is more detailed than we have seen in mixed reality from a large tech company so far. But given how much the metaverse graphics are, it won’t take long for other companies to create something similar should they choose.
