LGMP450You can hard reset the LGMP450 if you want to wipe all data at once and restore the smartphone to its default state when you opened it out of the box. Most people apply a factory reset before selling a smartphone; however, it’s also common to hard reset to troubleshoot software-related problems. If you are troubleshooting and the problem persists, try checking for a software update instead. Updating the firmware will solve it.

This tutorial demonstrates how to hard reset the LGMP450 smartphone.

LGMP450 Hard Reset

There are two ways you can hard reset the LGMP450 smartphone. Manufacturers recommend hard resetting via the Settings app first. And only use the second method via Recovery Mode if you cannot use the smartphone. So, here is the method via Settings:

1. With the LGMP450 turned on, tap Settings > General > Backup & Reset.

2. Tap Factory Data Reset > Reset Phone.

3. Tap Delete All.

All the data on the LGMP450 will now be wiped and the smartphone will be reset to its default factory state, meaning all apps, settings, and everything are gone. You will have to restore a backup to get the data back on the smartphone again.

You can also hard reset via Recovery Mode if you need to. Here is how to do that:

1. With the LGMP450 turned off, press and hold the Power + Volume Down buttons simultaneously.

2. Release the Power button when the LG logo is on the display.

3. With Volume Down still pressed press Power again.

4. Release both buttons when you see the Factory Data Reset menu.

5. Select Yes.

Wait for the data to be wiped and for the device to be factory reset. As with the first method, you will need to restore a backup if you want the data back on the device once the Android operating system restarts.

In conclusion, that is how to hard reset the LGMP450 smartphone.
