When I analyzed mangakakalot.com, there was a lot of manga on the homepage and it was immediately clear to me that I was dealing with a professional manga website. I like that mangakakalot.com had so much visible content on the homepage without it looking cluttered because it helped show how serious the webmaster is about their website which helps add trust. Volume is trust in my opinion (assuming the volume is high quality in a situation like this where I know there are lots of man-hours creating the content). When I clicked on some of the latest manga released on the mangakakalot.com homepage, the manga opened on single post pages on a different domain (outbound links). However, the outbound links were on a domain similarly named which I think was a dedicated domain owned by mangakakalot.com for hosting the content. Generally, I recommend keeping the manga on the same domain to avoid potential SEO issues.
