Winocm, is an iOS developer who has been very busy of late. In the past few weeks he has managed to create an iOS 6.1.3 untethered Jailbreak, which is underrated in its own right, because lets face it, many people just flat-out refuse to walk away with the tethered option, even if they hardly turn their phones off anyway.

He then managed to hack out an iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak for the iPhone 4S which is later released as a video tutorial and now he has come up with an iPhone 5 iOS 6.1.4 jailbreak.

How do we know it’s true? There is a screenshot posted from his account which clearly demonstrates he is running Cydia version 1.1.8 on firmware iOS 6.1.4 on his AT&T iPhone 5. You can see it for yourself here:

The issue now is that just because it’s created doesn’t mean we will all have access to it tomorrow. In fact, it can take some time — all-be-it extremely frustrating, time — before we actually get to use it.

Moreover, it’s only a day away from the release of the two new iPhone’s, which can only mean one thing: we should also be expecting to see the release of the latest operating system at the same time.

Just because iOS 7 is released does not make this pointless, however, because there will still be a demand for it even with the newer firmware out.

For those keen on sticking with the current firmware builds, you might need to keep a close eye on this evolving Jailbreak news because the newsstands will get flooded with the fruit companies newest software edition, plus the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C news for the next few months.
