If you are the proud owner of an Android smartphone and a bit of a gamer you will understand the frustration which can be brought on by the having limited memory space. Unfortunately your Android smartphone memory can present some problems when it comes to downloading new Apps from the Google Play Store. Especially for the game lovers out there who have several large file game Apps stored to their smartphones internal memory.

So what can you do if you have limited memory and want to download new Apps without deleting any of your current ones? Simply move some of your App’s to your Android smartphones internal SD card. If you have a slightly older Android smartphone you won’t have the inbuilt feature to do this. You can however, download App 2SD App from the Google Play Store and use it to move your Apps across. Once you have App 2SD app installed on your Android smartphone here is how to use it:

To move Apps from Android smartphone to SD card

Step 1. Open up the menu on your Android smartphone and launch App 2SD

Step 2. When App 2SD’s interface launches it will display any app which is able to be moved to the Androids smartphones SD card. Select the app you wish to move.

Step 3. Once you tap on the app you want to move, a new screen will appear like the one below. Tap the ‘Move to SD card’ option.

Step 4. A confirmation will appear on your screen once the app has been transferred which reads: ‘Installed on SD card’.

To move Apps from SD card to Android smartphone

Step 1. Open up the menu on your Android smartphone and launch App 2SD.

Step 2. Tap on the ‘On SD Card’ tab.

Step 3. All the Apps that you have stored on your SD card will be presented. Tap on the one you want to move back to the Android smartphone’s internal memory.

Step 4. Once you tap on the app you want to move, a new screen will appear like the one below. Tap the ‘Move to Phone’ option.

Step 5. A confirmation will appear on your screen once the app has been transferred which reads ‘Installed on device’.

And that’s it, it is very user-friendly. App 2SD is a great tool to free up some memory on your Android smartphone.
