Achieving root on the Samsung Galaxy Grand Max is now possible, all thanks to the KingRoot universal root method. Unlike most Samsung roots where you are required to flash a file using Odin, the Grand Max root takes a new approach and lets you gain root-access on your device with a single tap.
So, here’s how you can go about rooting your device with KingRoot:
Files You Need
1. You do not need to have a computer in order to do this tutorial. The root app can directly be downloaded and installed on your device.
2. The following tutorial uses the KingRoot universal rooting method to root your device.
3. Download KingRoot to your computer.
Rooting the Samsung Galaxy Grand Max
1. Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable. Make sure your phone is in data transfer mode or you won’t be able to copy the file to your phone.
2. Copy KingRoot from your computer over to the internal SD card storage on your phone.
3. When KingRoot is copied, unplug your phone from your computer.
4. Head to Menu followed by Settings on your device. Tap the option that says Security and turn on Unknown sources.
5. Launch File Manager and tap on KingRoot to install the app on your device.
6. When the app is installed, open it from your app drawer.
7. Tap Start Root in the app and wait for it to gain root-access on your device.
8. When it’s done rooting, reboot your device.
9. You’re now rooted!
Cheers! Your Samsung Galaxy Grand Max is now rooted and you can have it confirmed using Root Checker on your device.
