Before you begin the guide make sure your device has sufficient battery left. As always, we recommend that you back up your device before starting one of these guides just in case something were to go wrong. Ensure you have the drivers pre-installed on the Windows PC for your device before starting.
How To Install CWM Recovery In Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562
Step 1. Download the required ClockworkMod CWM package from here. Download the ODIN v1.85 from here.
Step 2. Power down the Galaxy S Duos S7562. Upon reboot put the device into download mode.
Step 3. With the USB cable supplied, connect the phone to the Windows PC.
Step 4. Open up ODIN and look for a port number to show that you have been connected successfully.
Step 5. Select the file you previously downloaded. Follow the on-screen instructions on how to install it.
Step 6. Click on the PDA tab and select the CWM5.5-recovery.tar file.
Step 7. make sure that the Auto Reboot and F.Reset buttons are both checked inside ODIN.
Step 8. Look for the start button on the middle of the screen and click it to begin the flashing process. When it has finished you will get a message displayed telling you to reboot. This means that everything went as planned and the device is ready. Once you reboot the device it will have ClockworkMod CWm Recovery installed.
