The Edge browser has been updated to version 95.0.1020.40. This update to the Stable channel was released on October 31, 2021.
Edge Beta 95.0.1020.40 solves some security problems but doesn’t add any new features. The Google Chrome browser has fixed up to eight vulnerabilities recently. And since Edge runs on the same Chromium foundation, those same vulnerabilities may have been solved in this update. If not, then Edge users can expect another update soon.
The Edge browser will automatically update itself the next time you close the browser window. However, if your browser is open, you can head to Settings > Help and Feedback > About Microsoft Edge, and then the browser will automatically check for new updates and apply them.
