Today brought some good news with it for all people who have the Galaxy Note 3 LTE N9005 phablet. This is a phone that was released in the UK only last month and cost around $899 full retail for the full 32 GB variant. If you shop around the web, now you should be able to knock at least $50 off that price if you hunt around.
As for most of the rest of the world, they are still waiting to see this one come out into shops. In recent days we have covered many things for the Note 3 including commercials, advertisements, leaked images, source codes and much more. There is only one way to install this official firmware on the device and that is by using a tool called Odon. In particular, you want to have the 3.07 version of this tool.
Don’t forget to perform all the wiping such as the Cache Partition. This is essential. If there are still any issues you might also want to wipe the Dalvik Cache. These are just two common things that can arise. Basically, what is happening is that the cache is getting stuck, and it is causing some compatibility issues with what you are seeing.
There are only very minor tweaks and features to be found inside of this update. Its main reason for the release was to fix bugs. As it stands today, there is no time frame for the rest of the world to get theirs. If so, this will only be used by residents in the United Kingdom area.
You can install the update automatically by accepting the over the air notification that comes in to your device. Those of you with root access will want to update manually because the OTA update will brick your device. You can also install the official update manually if you are running a custom ROM.
