The CyanogenMod team has been working hard of late getting heaps of new devices ready for the CM 10.1 nightlies. All up they’ve managed to include about a dozen or so new selected devices including mobiles and tablets. As of today, you can now add the Barnes and Noble Nook HD and HD+ to that list. That includes both the 7 and 9 inch models.

Both file downloads are fairly light, topping out at under 170MB, so it shouldn’t take too long to update.

As far as build names go, it can be a bit tricky. What you want to look out for is the hummingbird and ovation names via search. This will hook you up with them.

Don’t forget to grab your Google GApps first if you plan on trying it out. Along with Gapps, you’ll need root access and a custom ROM to boot.

This is a nightlies build, however, a full stable build should be on the way soon. Don’t be surprised to catch CM10.2 for the Android 4.3 in the coming months also. For now, though, that is just speculation and shouldn’t be taken as anything more. As you can see, it wasn’t exactly quick for the 4.2.2 JB to arrive for the nooks.
