Owners of the Transformer pad Infinity TF700T would be familiar with 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich because that’s what the tablet came with out of stores. Now, though, users can upgrade their Transformers to 4.3 jelly bean thanks to an aftermarket CM10.2 build. If you’re thinking that sounds awfully a lot like a custom ROM, that is because you would be correct in assuming so.

Users would not otherwise get the chance to run Android 4.3 if it wasn’t getting it done in this fashion. It is a final build, and there isn’t much to be wary of other than the fact that you will of course void your device’s warranty by following through with the installation this way, as a pose to waiting for an official firmware build to surface. As of today, there is no word on when that might be, or even if it will be for that matter.

If you aren’t sure how to install the firmware it’s always in your best interest to seek out a guide to help you out. We don’t offer that here, but we do have the link that gives you the file. You can get yours here.

The installation is done using the devices, SD card to transfer over the files. Just be sure to do all the usual wipes before performing the task, and you are good to go.
