Siri is Apple’s voice-assistant that runs on the devices housing the Apple’s iOS operating system. While you can ask Siri some useful questions to get meaningful answers, there are some questions that make it get angry (sort of!) on you.
One of these questions that has recently got a buzz on the Internet is asking Siri to divide zero by zero. Unless you have always gotten zero marks in Mathematics, you probably already know the answer.
When I asked Siri running on my iPhone 6 the above question, here’s what she had to say:
Imagine that you have zero cookies and you split them evenly among zero friends. How many cookies does each person get? See? It doesn’t make sense. And Cookie Monster is sad that there are no cookies, and you are sad that you have no friends.
Her answer was spot on, and I really liked it.
I could say that this is the best example of artificial intelligence, and we hope that we will see more of these examples in the coming months or years.
