For most of us, owning exotic sports cars is only something we can achieve when we arrive home and switch on our gaming consoles. Lucky now there’s an app that lets us drive around in all of our favorite supercars (If we didn’t know any better). The Apps called XLR8 and it’s a brilliant app that mimics your driving, but instead of hearing your own bomb, you can choose from a vast selection of your favorite cars to listen to instead.

The above feature video shows just how the XLR8 works. All you have to do is hook up the XLR8 up with your GPS and your car speakers to give you the amazing effects as if you’re driving a real-life supercar.

It gets easier if you have a reasonably new phone that already has a GPS device installed. The GPS is necessary because it’s the part that allows the apps to mimic exactly what your foot is doing, so it’s actually like your driving the car featured in the XLR8 App. With the GPS on board, all you have to do is plug it into your car stereo and you are ready to rock.

If you’re interested in picking up a copy, you can get yours at the Google Play store from this direct link. Currently, XLR8  is for Android devices only but in time if it’s successful you should see it spread across a wider range of phones.
