The homepage had visual appeal, all the features I would want as a user, and the thumbnails were of videos I had not seen before. The text for the categories was in yellow which went well with the purple background but arguably was not the easiest text to read. When I hovered the mouse, the text would turn white, which eliminated that issue. You could argue that yellow was a better color before I hovered the mouse because it didn’t take all of the emphasis away from the thumbnails and the text was still readable enough. Many of the categories above the fold were ones I would expect to be the most popular to click in the niche. When I scrolled below the fold, the categories often were less related to the niche of the domain and were more related to the broader niche. I could find the videos used as thumbnails on the homepage inside the categories. Often I clicked on these videos to test them to see if they were gateway pages and they were not — they did load with the videos they implied I would be opening. That said, often the videos on these pages would be on different domains, while still related to the original niche. For instance, one video loaded on the maturetubehere.com domain after I clicked to play a video on maturealbum.com. I tested more categories to see how likely this was to occur and it continued to occur (anysex.com was another domain that opened the video).
