DESCRIPTION

When I analyzed hdzog.com, the thumbnails on the homepage opened videos on the single post pages on the same domain (hdzog.com). Thus, I would call hdzog.com a porn tube site. That said, I noticed beneath the video player a Suggested For You section of thumbnails. Each of these thumbnails loaded a porn video as an outbound link on another domain outside of hdzog.com. There’s nothing wrong with ads, but I recommend making it clearer that those video thumbnails are outbound links. I didn’t predict ending up on another domain when I clicked them. If it happens to me, it will happen to other users who could start browsing that other domain rather than your own. The goal is to keep users on your own domain. You’ll be better off for it financially in the long run. I recommend labeling all ads as ads when they aren’t obvious to users. That way, they’ll stay on your domain until they want to leave it. When they leave your domain when they want to, they’ll leave happy and remember having a good user experience on your site. 2/13/2025
