When I analyzed dillards.com, the homepage was well-optimized for search engines. Above the fold was a large professional-looking slider with the latest deals for users to check. Beneath that were numerous sections each with optimized heading tags for SEO keywords such as “gift ideas for her.” Not only were the heading tags optimized for search queries, but they also naturally seemed like sections users would like to click on, which means a better bounce rate for the homepage. The web pages on dillards.com loaded quickly, but not as quickly as I would have expected. I recommend ensuring that the coding is optimized and no extra code is used than is necessary. The images on dillards.com were high quality and the features on the category landing pages were also optimal. The dillards.com single post pages had an impressive zoom feature for the images where I could zoom in and inspect the clothing far better than average. I could see so much detail in the clothing that I could easily see the stitching quality and what the items were made out of, which was ideal for the shopping experience. Some drawbacks with this were that the cursor was minimal in design and the loading of the images was a bit slow. I recommend dillards.com has more related items on the clothing single post pages and an easier to way navigate back to the category landing page where I was looking at clothing items before I clicked on an item to open its single post page.
