What Is airtasker.com, and Is It Safe?

Airtasker (airtasker.com) is a site for hiring skilled home and office workers.

DESCRIPTION

The homepage of airtasker.com had two main buttons above the fold: post your task for free, and earn money as a Tasker. It also showed some stats that users of airtasker.com had accomplished, such as 2.5M+ tasks completed. My first impression was that this was a site where I could post a job for people to do and that I could use airtasker.com to earn money completing other people’s job listings. So essentially, airtasker.com is a job board. The next question I had was what tasks or jobs get posted on this job board. It listed its categories at the top of the page and the topics were broad (accounting, tutoring, heating and cooling, etc.). I could imagine airtasker.com getting views from many self-employed people looking for more work.

HISTORY

As of December 2023, airtasker.com has 1.7 million monthly views. Airtasker.com was founded on January 25, 2012. The Internet Archive has saved airtasker.com 1,007 times between January 25, 2012 and January 12, 2024.

Is airtasker.com Safe?
