The trendy Viber application for Android is receiving another update, namely 5.0.1.36 build that carries bug fixes and improvements making it worth while to run over the last installment. Additionally, the main focal point that users will enjoy is a fresh, design and enhanced socializing skills with the developers making it easier to add friends than ever before.
Nowadays there’s no shortage of SMS text applications for users to enjoy. The only problem is finding an application that you and your friends enjoy together so you can connect. Viber offers that with free messages to your contacts list that are running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and above. Often it is laziness kicking in that prevents us from giving new apps a go even though we know that exist. Don’t let that happen to you this time if you are hunting for a fresh experience outside of the stock messaging app that comes with the OS, Whatsapp and ChatOn.
In this version people find a revamped sticker menu, free calls, free texts, enhanced group conversations, video calls for friends running Android 4.0 and up including Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean and the latest KitKat software. Version 5.0.2 also comes with improvements to the Android L software that is now out as a developer preview. We expect the nexus range of tablets and smartphones to start receiving Android L in early November.
There are two ways to get your hands on the up-to-the-minute version, including the APK file here or the official app available from the Google Play Store here.
