The Sony Xperia M4 is the successor to the Xperia M4 Aqua and picks off right where the Aqua left off with being water-resistant. The Xperia M5 comes with a great display (441 ppi) and an unbelievable camera (21.5 megapixels on the rear) that would nearly rival most flagships.

If you buy the M5 you are probably buying it for the camera. In addition to the 21+ megapixels coming from the rear-facing snapper, you also get the 13 megapixel snapper on the front. To put that front facing camera into perspective, you might remember HTC bringing out the Desire Eye smartphone a while back.

That Desire Eye was dubbed the “selfie camera” due to its front-facing camera. It came with 13 megapixels on the front. While times have advanced since the Desire Eye’s release, it’s still rare to find a camera as strong as this on the front, and definitely rare to find camera like this on the rear unless you are buying a flagship.
