Sony has managed to roll out a new official firmware update for the Xperia X C150X mobile phones. This update is similar to the others going around today, which basically are just for bug fixes and improvements, rather than anything new and flashing in terms of new features. None-the-less, it’s an upgrade from the earlier version of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean which this smart phone came pre-loaded right out of the box with.

This phone was brought out as a mid-range device, and it performed well across the board. There was nothing outstanding is managing to do in particular, but at the same time, there was nothing it didn’t do well either. Some owners praised it for its music capabilities, which is becoming well renowned for.

No official change-log has been brought out by Sony for the upgrade. It is known as a minor update now.

It has, however, been made available so that users can update their devices manually with the official firmware file.

If you haven’t installed firmware before you should follow a guide instead of attempting to do it by yourself. Things can go wrong if you don’t know what you’re doing which can harm your mobile.
