The Samsung Galaxy Alpha was Samsung’s answer to the criticism they were getting about being nothing but a “plastic brand”. The Alpha smartphone was the first smartphone Samsung made that had a metal finish around the outer edges.
Up until then, they had only had plastic devices — even for their flagships. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is one of our personal favorite devices to come out during 2014. Samsung also released other A-series devices with similar design and name which made them difficult to tell apart. The Galaxy Alpha would be a great buy today if you can pick one up cheaply on eBay.
