The LG Nitro is one of LG’s most popular smartphones. It is almost equally as popular to learn how to root and that’s why we have created this user friendly guide.

Notes:

  • Make sure you have the LG USB drivers. It is possible you have this already if you use the device regularly, in which case you can skip this step. This is necessary to connect the device to the computer.
  • You will also need to have USB debugging mode enabled in order to complete this guide. You can follow the link that I provided and find out how to do that if you don’t know already.

How to Root LG Nitro HD Using SuperOneClick Tool

Before starting the step by step process be sure to grab the required files first which you will then need to go ahead with step 1.

First things first. Go ahead and down the SuperOneClickv2.2-ShortFuse file.

Step 1. Unzip the information from the rooting program you downloaded and transfer the information to your PC. Preferably place them onto your desktop for easy access but the choice is yours as to where you want to place them.

Step 3. Now, release the SuperOneClick rooting device/tool by double-clicking on SuperOneClick.exefile.

Step 4. Hook up your LG Nitro HD to your PC using the USB wire that comes with your LG system.
Step 5. From the main interface of the SuperOneClick system, simply select the Main root option to begin rooting your phone.

Step 6. Be patient while it continues to do its thing. The root will eventually be complete. You will be able to tell if your device is successfully rooted by seeing a “success” message located inside the SuperOneClick tool.

Now that you have finished, you can instantly download rooted apps. Furthermore, you may be interested in checking our custom ROMs.
