Will PS Vita play PS 4 games? The answer is a big yes. Rumour has it the PS Vita will indeed play PS 4 games once it is released. This is big news for gamers looking to buy into the PS Vita and will surely boost PS Vita sales. PS Vita sales were already predicted to be strong with gamers focussing on the multi-screen gaming technology and now with this news sales should really rise.

Tony Bartles interview with Forbes about the PS Vita:

“With multi-screen gaming continuing to rise in popularity, I think you’ll see more gamers purchase a Vita to take advantage of the enhanced gameplay offered by PS4.”“We’re always happy to see a price cut! Both bundles and price cuts tend to spur additional sales, so this would make sense leading up to launch.”

The PlayStation 4 is the brand new gaming console set to be released in a few months after its launch that took place in February. It was a huge month for Sony as they released something new day after day it seemed. First, it was the conference in New York where they released the all-new Dual Shock 4 controller, followed by all the specs and features of the PS 4. The media did release some pictures of the event. However, Sony did not release what the PS 4 would look like, opting instead to leave fans in the wake.

That in itself was a very strange move and left many scratching their heads. It soon became apparent though that Sony had methodically set out their plans rather than the unit itself not being ready to show the world. That was evident when people woke the next day to see Sony release the first ever teaser trailers.
