As I’m sure most of you are aware, the newest version of Android is 5.0 Lollipop. One of the standout features of Lollipop that separates it from the earlier KitKat updates is a new material design user interface. The fresh design idea came out during the Google I/O event during June of 2014. The idea is to continually develop further enhancements as if it’s a living thing, and eventually come up with innovative and leading design showing on the display without having to change the screen resolution.

One of the main features to come with material design is the new apps. There’s are some applications which work great with the material design and some that are lackluster. Some examples of apps that are working nicely include Action launcher 3, Cabinet Beta, Cerberus Anti-theft, CloudMagic email, the Google Chrome browser, Apex Launcher and Local cast media. Another app that’s worth a mention is the Sony Party Share made specially for Xperia devices.

The application simply labelled PartyShare by the developers is available on the Google Play Store. Scroll down the screen and you’ll see the new version is updated on the 2nd of February. Under the What’s new section tells us it comes with new design updated (material), music shuffle support and bug fixes. That means if you are experiencing any technical difficulties with bugs in your existing firmware, it’s worth updating to the new 01.01.00 version to eliminate those. Of course, those wanting the new look UI will also have to install the latest edition.

The new version is 11 MB in size. That means you can install the file using your mobile data if you must because it’s not using much space. Furthermore, you must have your Xperia device running Android 4.4 KitKat and up to use the app. Those of you on the latest Android Lollipop will benefit the most.
