The OnePlus 2 is the successor to the “flagship killer” OnePlus One. While it’s a bit of a mystery why they elected to change from spelling out the numerical value to listing the number between first and second-generation handsets, the specifications are anything but a mystery.
The OnePlus 2 smartphone comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop, a 5.5-inch display, 13 megapixel camera and a Snapdragon 810 system chip. While the first generation handset came out just as the competition were coming out with hardware upgrades, this year’s OnePlus device has done a better job at staying relevant. Apple’s iPhone refusing to dish out a high megapixel camera is also making the OnePlus 2 appear better.
With that being said, it won’t be long until we see the official release of Android 6.0 Lollipop which will bury the current 5.1 Lollipop. Of course, you can get that update coming over the air, just not as soon as some would hope.
