Us phone carriers US Cellular are set to be bringing out two brand new smartphones into their mobile phone range. The two new phones are called the Motorola Electrify 2 and the Motorola Defy XT.

The Motorola Electrify 2 and the Motorola Defy XT are set to be released as early as tomorrow and come at very competitive prices. Especially if you’re part of the mail-in-rebate in which the Motorola Electrify 2 phone would then be available to you for under $200 smackers.

The Motorola Electrify 2 is the follow up from the Motorola Electrify 1 if you hadn’t guessed already and is said to be the feature of the Motorola range, taking the realms from the past Motorola Atrix HD.

The Motorola Atrix HD was popular among buyers for its extra signal strength when compared to the iPhone range in rural and even some urban areas. It will still have the same OS being Android but this time running the latest 4.0 Jelly Bean instead of the past Gingerbread or Ice Cream Sandwich.

The Motorola Defy is the more affordable of the two and has the specs to match. In saying that, it still is good value for what it has and will definitely have a market for its uses. The Defy XT will feature the 2.3 Gingerbread OS still instead of any of the 2 available upgraded OS in the Android range. But it has to be said the 2.3 Gingerbread was a very nice OS to use and there’s nothing wrong with still buying it in a phone today.
