When it comes to flying, nobody I know is gain enough to take any risks. If we date back to a decade ago, mobile phones were not permitted at all on flights. The captains managed to drill the point in so hard, that even to this day when mobile phones are partially allowed on flights at the right time, people still refuse to do it. If you walked into a crowd and asked can you use Smartphones on the journey, roughly half would typically give you a straight now.
Today, the FAA (Flight Aviation Administration) has given everybody the all clear to use smart phones from start to finish on the plane trip. Yes, there is no need to worry about any type of interference anymore at all. The most interesting part is that this isn’t due to a new range or products being installed into the cockpits to avoid any kind of interruptions, but rather more extensive research being carried out that there really was nothing to worry about to begin with.
If you’re known as a frequent flyer, understandably this is probably a moment of pain and relief all at once as you reminisce over all the times you could have been playing those apps and games while flying around the world.
This news applies to all flights starting today for all around the world, not just in the United Sates.
