For those of you with a Jailbroken device that enjoys your quiet time, this new Cydia tweak may just be the thing for you.  The latest offering from developer Ryan Petrich, who needs little introduction, is a tweak that goes by the name of Luna. Luna is simple in its concept; to enhance the do not disturb function of the iPhone. Petrich is also responsible for popular tweaks such as DisplayOut, LiveClock, Activator and HapticPro.

Teaming up with Sentry, an iOS concept designer, the duo have engendered a tweak which allows users to simply swipe down from either the notification center or the lock screen to enable the do not disturb function. Previously we have had to access the iPhone settings menu to active the function, the Luna tweak turns this into a simple effortless gesture.

The tweak also changes the way notifications a re displayed once the device is unlocked, you will be presented with nocturnal banners which have been designed to be non intrusive in keeping with the do not disturb functions main purpose.

Yes there are tweaks on the market which allow for similar shortcuts to the do not disturb functionality, the draw card for the Luna tweak in particular would have to come from its creators, both highly gifted in their fields with a track record for delivering quality Jailbreak Tweaks. Luna is available now from the BigBoss repo at price of $1.99.
