Earlier predicaments of a cat and mouse game between Apple and the Jailbreak developers seems to have died down with the release of upgraded firmware solely for fixing known vulnerabilities such as the pass code. Another reason we can assume this is true is because the latest Evasi0n can and will still be working after users upgrade to iOS 6.1.2.

The latest Evasi0n is version 1.4 and it can jailbreak anything and everything running iOS 6 firmware except for the 4th Gen Apple TV.

After taking all of that into account, if you assumed iOS 6.1.2 can be jailbroken using the same method as before you would be correct. The only difference is you will need to download the latest version of Evasi0n which we will post here for you to get.

Before doing the jailbreak, a fresh restore is recommended. Also do not use the over the air update and then attempt this guide. Upgrade properly from the links in the iOS 6.1.2 post below.

Step 1. First and foremost, you will obviously need to be running the latest iOS 6.1.2 that was released earlier today.

Step 2. Once you have that on your device you can proceed in grabbing the latest version of Evasi0n for WindowsMac and Linux. All you have to do is download the file for the machine you plan on using i.e: if using Windows brag the Windows file.

Step 3. Now open up Evasi0n and click on the jailbreak button. Wait patiently for a few moments while Evasi0n jailbreaks your devices.
