The good old developer edition of the HTC One that used to be running 1.29.1540.17 has now been updated to Android 4.3 3.22.1540.1. Yes the numbers are confusing, and let’s be honest, nobody has a clue what they are talking about. The easiest way to recognize this one is that the newer version has the highest figures — which generally is always going to be the case unless we are going back in time and advancements.

Whilst this is good news for the developer edition owners, it leaves standard owners fairly disappointed after earlier in the week they read a tweet from the head honcho over at HTC that said that Android 4.3 will be coming their way. What he failed to leave out, however, was that it was a developer option only. That said, this update will still come in handy for many of you.

For all the non-believers out there, there is proof that this has already begun rolling out. There are pictures that show the screenshot of it sits on one source of a device as we speak.

This update will give the mobile the new Sense 5 features. The Sense 5 will make changes to the device’s user interface. Two main differences include a sharper and simpler look of the icons.
