Virgin Mobile is looking to add another mobile phone to their range, this time the HTC Desire 601 reports are suggesting. The smartphone we have here is the same device that was given the name HTC Zara back in May of 2013 when it was first rumored to be coming our way. Although the name has obviously changed, much of the specs are expected to remain the same.

The phone will have a 4.5 inch display, 540 x 960 pixels screen resolution, 245 ppi pixel destiny, IPS LCD screen technology and Android 4.2.2 Helly Bean out of the box. The hardware is equally as impressive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 system chip, Dual core, 1400 MHz, Krait processor, Adreno 305 graphics processor and 8 GB internal storage space. However, we predict that to give out just over 4 GB of maximum user space after the native software and apps are finished. The camera gives a rear-facing 5 megapixels LED flash and a 0.3 megapixels VGA shooter on the front.

Evidently, this Smartphone isn’t expected to be a top of the range product and subsequently it won’t be priced as one either.

The good news is if you are shopping around for a cheaper phone and want something that comes pre-loaded with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, thus this might tickle your fancy.

It will also be coming with the new Sense 5 features. That will also give users access to Blink Feed. If you’re a social person and into social media and streams, you literally can’t be any better equipped than what this device offers.

The Desire 601 also resembles the HTC One, which is the flagship mobile of the range. Moreover, they even come in a similar color.

Don’t overlook this one if it is budget, you are after coupled with looking the part.
