Beware! Rooting your phone will lead to a violation of your device warranty terms and that means you have to pay for the help which you will receive from any care center. This process is also risky and unofficial and Google won’t recommend you doing that also you might be not able to get any further firmware updates for your device but don’t worry, we got your back, you can update your device to Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat version using Odin.

Backup all of your important data before rooting your device, backup your important files, music, videos, photos and all other things which are important for you because you might lose them during this process if it backfires. Backup your contacts by syncing them to your Google account or export them to your phone’s SD card.

You need a PC with internet connection, a USB cable to connect your phone with your PC and your phone with USB debugging enabled on it (go to the Settings Developer Options > check the USB debugging check box). If you don’t do this before rooting your phone the your phone might get bricked.

Do not try to root any other device using this process, each and every step or file given here is only for Samsung galaxy Tab 3 10.1 only.

Steps to root Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 using Kingroot

  1. Download the Kingroot APK from here and save it on your PC (where you can find it later).
  2. Now connect your phone to your PC using the USB cable and move that King Root APK file to your phone’s SD card.
  3. Disconnect your PC from desktop and install King Root APK to your phone (read how to easily install APK file to any Android device).
  4. After installing the app launch it, go to all apps and look for that King Root app and tap on it.
  5. Inside that app you will see a lock icon with your phone’s model number written below it.
  6. There’s also a blue button at the bottom of the screen with START ROOT written on it, just hit that button.
  7. The time you hit that button, the rooting process will get started automatically.
  8. Wait for some time and you will see a confirmation screen on that app with a green tick in the middle of the screen.
  9. After that, immediately exit that app and reboot your hone once to take the root effect on your device.

Now your phone will boot to a rooted Android version (which ever you have on it). You can also check root access by installing any root checker app from here.
