The Samsung Galaxy Note is the first smart phone to introduce the Samsung S-Pen and now the Note series is breaking the record of smartphone sales. If you own that first Galaxy Note phone and haven’t rooted it yet, then you can do it now with just a tap of your finger. Read more to know more.

You need a PC, a USB cable to connect your phone to your PC and your phone with USB debugging enabled, do that by going to Settings > Developer Options > check the USB debugging check box. Also make sure that your phone is charged to 50% battery if not then charge your phone before rooting it.

Steps to root Samsung Galaxy Note using Kingroot app:

  1. On your phone first go to Settings > Security > check the “Unknown Resources” check box and confirm whatever the pop up says. Without doing this your phone will restrict your to install third-party apps to your phone.
  2. Now download the King Root app from here and put it on the desktop of your PC.
  3. Now connect your phone to your PC as mass storage and transfer the King Root APK to your phone’s storage or SD card.
  4. Unplug your phone from the PC and install King Root APK to your phone, here’s a tutorial to install APK to any Android device.
  5. After installing go to all apps and launch that King Root app from there.
  6. After launching that app, you will see your phone’s model number written at the center of the screen.
  7. You will also see a blue START ROOT button at the bottom of the screen, you have to tap on that button to start rooting.
  8. After waiting for some time your phone is rooted and the first thing you have to do after that is exit the app and reboot your phone.

After rebooting you will see a King User app in the app drawer and that means your phone has been rooted successfully and to be sure you can check root access by installing any root checker app to your phone.
