If you want to get into some advanced technology ideas with your rooted Samsung Galaxy A5 smartphone, you can install the Network Log Network Log that is available for rooted users. The Network Log app can help you identity the apps that are running in the background and what they are doing when they are connected to the internet. Some of those background apps will always be connecting to the internet and you might be asking yourself what are they doing with that connection? Now you can find out and check out the IP tables with a real-time list of active networks.
The Network Log app is just one example of an application you can use on your device. There are heaps more such as the dSploit app, Superuser by ClockworkMod, GMusicFS, DriveDroid, Greenify and GMD Speed Time applications. One app you should never fail to install is the SuperSU app. When you get root access using the CF-Root tool like the guide below, you usually get this app automatically since it is Chainfire who makes one of the versions of SuperSU. However, if your device does not have SuperSU available from the app drawer, you should install it from the Google Play Store.
Files You Need

- These steps to root Samsung Galaxy A5 devices are made for the SM-A500H model number only. You should check that number matches up with your by pointing to the Menu > Settings > About Device > Model Number.
