These are the steps to root the  Fujitsu Arrows X F02-E device running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The following guide uses a simple one-click rooting script for the Arrows X smartphone from a Windows computer.

Files You Need

  1. Download the one-click rooting script for your Windows PC from this page.
  2. Download the universal ADB Driver by Koush for your computer from this page.
  3. You must have a Windows PC to follow this guide. The script bat file will only work on a Windows operating system. You cannot expect this file to run on an Ubuntu/Linux or Mac computer. Furthermore, there is no work around to get it working on a Linux or Mac machine that we know about.
  4. You are agreeing to void the Fujitsu warranty by following this guide. You can flash the F02-E stock ROM back on the device and it should unroot and get the warranty working again.

Rooting the Fujitsu Arrows X F02-E

  1. Start off by running the universal ADB driver on your computer before doing anything else.
  2. Download the one-click rooting package to the computer and shift it over to the desktop.
  3. By default, your one-click rooting script should end up in the downloads folder. You can drag the file over to the desktop from that downloads folder.
  4. Right-click the mouse over the file and choose the “extract here” option from the menu.
  5. Enable the USB Debugging Mode on your Fujitsu Arrows X F02-E device by tapping on the Menu > Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging Mode.
  6. Connect the Arrows X smartphone to the computer using the USB cable.
  7. Double-click the mouse over the rooting script that should already be extracted on the desktop.
  8. Now just follow the on-screen commands to finish with the rooting guide.
  9. Reboot the Arrows device after the guide is complete and then open the Google Play Store.
  10. Choose to download the basic root checker app from the Google Play Store and run the same from the app drawer. The basic root checker application might prompt you to update the SU binary or grant Superuser access.

Since you have applied the rooting script now, your device is official unchained and ready to install those root-requiring apps. In addition to the applications, you are ready to install any custom kernels or even custom ROMs that require root access to run. However, in order to install a custom ROM you must first flash a custom recovery on your device otherwise there is no way of uploading your ROM files.
