I know the title of this post seems to be no-brainer as anyone would just know how to decline a phone call. However, things are different on an iPhone. When you’re using your iPhone and you receive a call, you would see the Decline button and you can tap on it to decline the call. The problem is though: when your iPhone is sleeping and you get a call, you will only see a single slider saying slide to answer. There’s no option to decline the call, so how would you cut that unwanted call you don’t want to receive?
Well, there’s an easy way to do that. Here’s how:
Declining a Phone Call While Using the iPhone
1. Tell your friend to call you so you can do the following steps.
2. When he/she calls you, you should see the red Decline button. Tap on it and the call will be declined.
3. You’re done.
Declining a Phone Call When the iPhone is Sleeping
1. Once again, bother your friend to call you so you can do the following steps.
2. You should see the slide to answer slider. Now, press the power button two times and the call will be declined.
3. You’re done.
That’s all there is to it.
Although it’s a really basic task, anyone with no prior iPhone experience should definitely need some help. That’s what this guide is for.
