As long as you have the WiFi version of the latest Galaxy Note 8.0 then you can now to upgrade to the XXCMi1 Android 4.2.2 jelly Bean. The model number for this kind of tablet is GT-N5110. There is no change in this.
This is the same firmware that the other models previously had earlier in October of 2013. Tablets like the LTE are the one’s that had this given to them a few weeks earlier.
There are new features inside of this one which is great for those looking at installing it.
We have also been given the file which lets users manually install it on their devices if they want to do that. You can find this at the bottom of the post.
To run it you will need to do the same operation as always. Open up Odin and then via the PDA section upload the file which you extracted. This is the tar.md5 file.
If you don’t know what you are doing it’s important to ask or else you run the risk of ruining the tablet or causing implications to it that may need to be fixed.
If you don’t yet have Odin you can find it on the site. The one you want is the latest 3.07 version. Running an older one won’t be compatible for users.
If for any reason you attempt to upload it on other modeled tablet it can result in bricking. Check the number branded on the back of yours, or visit the settings to find out the information.
