If you’re one of the millions of people who are liking the zombie apocalypse scene right now then you probably would enjoy MadFinger games, Dead Trigger 2, which is launched today for both iOS and Android as apps.
When we first laid eyes on the original game, roughly 12 months ago now, we could instantly tell it was going to be a beauty. It just had the graphics and ideas that could only come from somebody cool — all that judging without even playing it for a minute, but in the end I was right.
If I had to say something bad about it, which I can, it would have to be because of its untimely freezes with the software. When you are relying on the screen to work because you have to push it to shift the position of the first person shooter, you really need it to move. The other downside would be it can seem somewhat overwhelming when being bombarded with so many things to learn at the beginning that it’s easy to admire the graphics quickly before putting it down and then quivering in the corner of the room. But if you manage to withstand that pressure and learn how to play it before it becomes too much, the rewards are high.
It also doesn’t offer an automatic save feature when you click out of the game as you so often naturally do when playing mobile games due to being interrupted. This can really put a damper on the experience and prevent you from bothering to reach where you were before knowing how difficult it was to get there.
By the end of 2012 Dead trigger was mentioned among the elite in mobile gaming and developers soon set their sights on making the second coming of the hit game.

The new iteration is much like the first, only this time there are moments where you will take on the zombies in a team environment instead of going head to head one on one.
Sometimes when we come across a second movie, it is often a disappointment after the first. Ironically, that seems to take a turn in the opposite direction for games where more often than not the second installment in the series will be better. So far it seems like the latter will continue with the tradition.
Expect much of the same, but harder bosses to fight along with a wider range of enemies all packed in a game that could rival any console with its improved graphics. There’s been no shortage in crew working on this one either. The game has definitely expanded and become more in-depth than the last in every sense of the word, from graphics to more places to walk around.
