The original Moto X changed the Motorola brand name. After becoming a Google company, it was the first phone the two companies worked together and created. The original display is 4.7 inches in size. The Motorola Moto X 2014 smartphone is 5.2 inches in size. As you can see, they’ve made the display bigger to challenge the competition such as the new iPhone 6 and the Samsung Galaxy S5. In fact, it’s hard not to find a giant display on any flagship. The HTC One M8 and the LG G3 both have large displays too.
Anyway, the display size is relevant in this case because stock wallpapers are designed to fit the screen. That’s why the 2014 edition wallpapers fit this years Moto X better than the last. However, you can use each wallpaper on either device. They all load just the same.
