The BytaFont cydia tweak is an application that was made to give users a really simple way to change fonts on their iPhone, iPad and iPod touch in just a few taps on the screen.
The list of BytaFonts has been recently updated to be fully compatible with iOS 5.0.1 and iOS 5.1.1 this is still handy as users who want a Jailbroken iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch should not yet update to iOS 6 anyway.
BytaFont also comes with an update and you can now download BytaFont version 1.5. The new version comes with all the Glyphs of iOS 50.1 and iOS 5.1.1 have been added in the updated including Siri microphone, emoticons, rupee etc.
BytaFont 1.5 comes with a bunch of all new fonts that have been ported to Siri, iBooks and the iPad keyboard.
BytaFont Cydia tweak replaces the boring stock apps with your choice of any of many different font styles (thousands of different fonts!) to use on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. It’s compatible with all devices including the iPhone 4s and iPad 3 however compatibility with the iPhone 5 is yet to be confirmed by the developer. With over 8 million downloads to date, it doesn’t seem like BytaFont is going anywhere, so if you have the iPhone 5 and it isn’t working I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before it becomes available to use.
Remember this is a Cydia Tweak so it requires a Jailbroken device for it to work. if you have not yet Jailbroken your device you can learn how in our Jailbreak section.
