Thanks to a tip off we know that this firmware made its way to Morocco after first rolling out to German’s several days before. It is expected to go even further than that, and we can only assume that means to other parts of Europe before finishing up in a few weeks time or less. It’s hard to pinpoint where it will go from here until we find further evidence.

The firmware is for the Model No. GT-N8000 and will boost the OS to a new version of Kitkat. It is the 2012 edition of the device that carries the same name through to 2014. It also includes the default messaging app changed to Hangouts. You also get a transparent status bar, better multitasking and more. For this specific update, it will be very much a case of wait and see because no changelog was given out.
This tablet comes with 16 GB of built-in storage space.
