Files You Need
1. This should be able to root all the variants of the Samsung Galaxy S6 except for the Verizon and AT&T variants as their bootloaders are not unlocked.
2. Download TWRP Recovery for your variant of the device:
3. Download SuperSU to your computer. It’ll be used to gain root-access on the device.
4. Download Odin to your computer. It’ll be used to install a custom recovery on your device.
Installing a Custom Recovery and Rooting the Samsung Galaxy S6 (All variants)
1. Extract files from Odin to your computer by right-clicking on it and selecting Extract here.
2. Double-click on Odin executable and it’ll launch on your computer.
3. Click on PDA and select the TWRP Recovery Image to be installed on your device.
4. Uncheck Repartition if it’s already checked in the Odin.
5. Checkmark both Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options.
6. Enable USB debugging on your device by heading to Menu->Settings->Developer options->USB debugging.
7. Plug in your phone to your computer using a USB cable.

14. You will reboot into the newly installed recovery mode.
15. Select Install in the recovery mode.
16. Select the SuperSU ZIP to be flashed on your phone.
17. Confirm the flash prompt.
18. Wait for it to flash the selected file on your device.
19. When the flashing’s done, reboot your device.
20. You’re all set!
