The homepage features a video above the fold titled “What Is Monero?” I clicked on the minute-long video and it played directly on the homepage and there was no evidence of the video being uploaded to another platform such as YouTube. The video was well done and concise. To the right of the video player were two buttons: About Monero and Join Community. I clicked on About Monero and this time it had a written page complete with some images that explained the Monery cryptocurrency. There was also another video, this time at least five minutes in length. Back on the homepage, I could choose a wallet, get some coins from exchanges, learn how merchants accept it as a currency, and find answers to my questions.

This is the official Monero site. Monero is the crypto with the most privacy. Getmonero.org hasn't changed much over the years. If you are getting started with Monero, you ought to check the resources on this site, such as the What is Monero (XMR)? page. Famous people such as John McAfee touted Monero as the best cryptocurrency due to it being the only non-traceable cryptocurrency. The downside with Monero is that it's not all that popular yet, especially among retail. My guess is there are some powerful bag holders. If not for them, it would look even smaller. I do worry whether it can compete with other projects like Ether and Solana. But if Bitcoin keeps going up, it should be fine. Bitcoin traders alone with buy some Monero and keep it going.
