A new version of the latest 4.2.2 Jelly bean has been issued for the Samsung Galaxy LTE I9505 mobile. The upgrade will boost your mobile to the XXUAMDN official firmware version. This firmware was brought out by Samsung officially and will not cause any issues.

This mobile phone is the flagship model of the Samsung Galaxy range. That means it is the best that they have to offer its customers, which generally entails the highest specs in the business. To this day, it’s still fairly new and did come with the 4.2.2 out of the box, however, just not the XXUAMDN version. This is a later version. If you have an interest in upgrading its better you do so sooner than later because lately we’ve seen the next generation of JB coming through on several devices. That doesn’t mean we can expect to find it out on nearly all mobiles soon, but it does give a slight sense of urgency and extra motivation. There is no point waiting if you are just going to have to upgrade the phone again in a few weeks.

There’s some things you will need to do before you continue.

Requirements:

– The Galaxy S4 LTE I9505 USB drivers.

– USB debugging mode switched on/enabled.

We are now living in a time where Micro SD cards are prominent. It’s a good idea to get to know those in the early stages. Over time they will adapt to something smaller and with a different name, but the process will always stay the same. The Samsung galaxy handsets are some of the devices that always use these cards. That’s a good thing for backing up which we always want to be doing to avoid any loss of data. If you go to the local store and pick up a SD card reader, you can then plug-in your phone to the computer. The contents will come up on the screen with the help of the reader. This can now be shifted over to another folder for safe keeping’s. Whenever you want the backup copy access this folder and then restore it on your phone. It’s as simple as that.

Some people do not like that method because the file transferring can take a long time if you are a person that has lots of applications and games. These are generally large size files and there is no way to speed up the process other than to do the back up a different way. For them I suggest the app called helium. Helium once downloaded will give you a really easy way to store everything including the applications.

For troubleshooting always do a full factory reset. This is the only way to get yourself out of trouble if it’s really bad. It will wipe everything, though which is why it was in your best interest to make another copy of it all like I mentioned above.

Install XXUAMDN Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean On The Samsung galaxy S4 LTE I9505

1. Download the Android 4.2.2 I9505XXUAMDN firmware package. Also, download ODIN 3.07.

2. Turn the mobile off and boot it back up into download mode.

3. Run the ODIN, which we downloaded before on the computer.

4. Connect the phone to the computer with the USB.

5. Click on the PDA tab inside ODIN and upload the tar file.

6. Also located inside ODIN are the Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options. Ensure both these are crossed with a mark.

7. Click the start button which is around the center.

Wait for it to finish, and you’re done. The cell phone will reboot itself when it’s complete.

The operating system goes a long way of judging the overall fell of a device. Android and the other big names like iOS know this and make it an integral role of the product. Although we love that the little green robot firm love to name their software after treats, there’s no arguing that there is much more to the success of it than just that. Each time they bring a new version out it seems to run better than the last and have a stack of new things to look at, as well as tweaks and UI adaption.
