Files You Need

1. You need a Windows based computer to do this tutorial.

2. You should have Samsung USB drivers installed on your computer.

3. Download Odin to your computer. It is used to flash ROMs on Samsung devices.

4. Download Stock ROM for the SM-G388F to your computer. It is the stock ROM for your device.

5. This should only work for the SM-G388F device.

Unrooting the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3

1. Unzip files from both Odin and Stock ROM to your computer by right-clicking on each of them and selecting Extract here.

2. Launch Odin by double-clicking on its executable file.

3. When Odin launches, click on PDA and choose Stock ROM available on your computer.

4. Make sure that Repartition is unchecked in the Odin.

5. You can checkmark Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options in the Odin.

6. Turn off your device.

7. Turn your device back on in download mode. To do that, hold down Volume DOWN, Home, and Power buttons at the same time.

8. Press Volume UP and you will be in download mode on your device.

9. Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.

10. Click on Start in the Odin and let it flash the stock ROM on your device.

11. When it’s done flashing the ROM, your device should automatically reboot.

12. You’re now unrooted!

Cheers! Your Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 is no longer rooted. It now runs the official unrooted stock firmware.
