The official Sony Audio recorder application is receiving a newfangled update to version 1.00.26. The Audio recorder works by hooking up with the Stereo Microphone STM10. The new iteration comes with additional support for the SmartBand and cancelling digital noise headset MDR-C31EM. Therefore, if you are rocking that model number you are able to use the application now after you download it from the play store from this link. In addition to those features, we have some technical issues resolved that likely point towards a few bug fixes.

The update is very minor in terms of size, coming in at exactly 2.0 MB. All comments point towards this build working well and the app carrying out the functionality just like the name suggests which is nothing but a great thing. The upgrade came out on the 24th of October.

If you are rolling with the new version please leave us a comment and tell us what you think. We always value your opinions and often post them in our up and coming work if we feel you are offering good value. The aforementioned application requires device owners to run with an operating system of Android 4.1 Jelly bean. That shouldn’t be a problem for most as we are well into the final stages of KitKat and only weeks away from seeing the first batch of 5.0 Lollipop smartphones arriving.
