You can download one of the free Samsung firmware update tools and get the Samsung GT-N8013 firmware update from Samsung’s servers. Doing this means you don’t have to download firmware files from third-party sources.

1. SamFirm_Reborn
An XDA-Developers senior member once created a tool that allowed you to download and check for the latest Samsung firmware from Samsung servers. The developer, zxz0O0, named it SamFirm. SamFirm Reborn is a newer iteration of that original firmware tool.

2. SamFwTool
Another tool that was created after SamFirm was shut down was SamFirm Continued. However, when that one was no longer being developed either, SamFwTool was created in its wake. SamFwTool automatically detects the device which is helpful for less technical-minded smartphone users. All you have to do is connect to the computer in MTP Mode and click the Auto Detect button to try to automatically have your smartphone detected. This feature makes it one of my favorite tools for downloading Samsung firmware files. Like SamFirm Reborn, SamFwTool downloads the firmware files directly from Samsung;’s servers.
